Bathurst is situated at the estuary of the Nepisiguit River. It’s population is 11,000 as of 2016.

From Cheryl’s journal: “July 24 We finally left Campbellton after two heater cores and $1175 later. I have never felt so appreciative of the business, and felt the people working on our vehicle so competent. They tried many different things, and not always the most expensive options to help get us on our way. Feeling like we’re five days behind schedule.
We made it to Bathurst NB no problems at all from our engine compartment.
From Cheryl’s journal again: “Parked at the Walmart and walked downtown. Bathurst reminds me of Vernon–the rolling hills, greenery, and water all around. They boast they have some of the warmest waters around. Unfortunately we don’t have time to test the theory–on the road again.”
Neither one of us took a single picture in Bathurst–too distracted by scenery! I can’t find images on the net that I’m sure are open source and free to use (let me know if you can find us an open source image or two).
You get a PEI teaser instead, from Aug 12.
